You're Invited to Join the Global Kitchen
As a continuation of the WDHD 2021 campaign, Obesity, an ongoing pandemic, and following the success of IFSO’s first cookbook, published in 2019, the WGO and IFSO are excited to develop another cookbook and need your help to make it possible.
We are delighted to invite you to submit recipes nutritionally appropriate for people undergoing bariatric surgery or living with obesity. This collaboration will result in a second cookbook with recipes from around the world. Recipes chosen for the cookbook will feature the author’s name and country.
Please review the instructions and submit your recipe using this template to WGO at info@worldgastroenterology.org SUBJECT: Global Kitchen.
Deadline to submit your recipes is 25 March 2022.
The recipes will be judged using the following criteria:
- Accurate nutritional composition and sustainability for people living with obesity, or having bariatric surgery.
- Originality
- Ease of preparation
- Quality of presentation
